The installation ceremony was held at the residence of Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena on Sunday, June 21, amid growing tensions over the church’s succession.

Shortly before the event, his sister, Sarah Adwoa Safo, was reportedly attacked by unidentified gunmen near the residence of her younger brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, popularly known as Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena. She is said to be receiving medical treatment following the incident.
